VanchCard was invented by Hangzhou Huixin Technology Co., Ltd., which was established in August 2017. The company is located in Hangzhou New & High Technology Industry Development Zone. It specialises in the research and development of entertainment products for kids and teenagers with interactive technology. VanchCard is the first large-scale AR Trading Card Game series launched in October 2017, where players can put breathe-lifed characters to battle with the mobile device. In 2020, Vanch (International) Technology Company Limited was established in Hong Kong for international business development and operations. Vanch successfully attempted the world famous Transformers license in China and Asia in 2021 and launched a series of collaborations with it. The business made a boost in a year and expanded to international markets.
CHALLENGES UNDER Rapid Expansion
VanchCard is a startup company expanding across regions including Asia, South America, North America and Europe, which requires a global and reliable cloud provider with data centers in major cities to deploy backend servers. VanchCard adopts an asynchronous data battle method, where the battle results are uploaded only when the game is over. It requires user data transmission across different regions and a built-in MySQL database in the server. Their business challenge is that the rapid expansion leads to an overwhelming volume of user data to be processed. They need servers with high reliability of data storage, data transmission with secure and stable support, and high availability and quick recovery from failures to support their operation.
Effortless Cloud Deployment and Secure Data Transmission
Master Concept has assisted dozens of cross-border companies with overseas operations establishing business systems on Google Cloud. With extensive experience in on board to Cloud, Master Concept helps VanchCard to plan and design cloud architecture. Cloud Deployment Manager makes it easy for Vanch to deploy backend services and instances (including MySQL configurations within each server) in collaboration with clients. With the support of the Google Fiber optic network, the user game data transmission is stable and secure. To secure the user data, Master Concept utilizes scheduled snapshots for data backup, so services can be quickly restored when the server fails. Besides, we also provide both immediate and after-sale Google Cloud consulting and technical implementation support to clients.
SUCCESSFUL Worldwide expansion with Reliable Infrastructure
VanchCard has achieved huge growth and the business territory has expanded rapidly with the support of Google Cloud, the product has been launched in Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Brazil and very soon in Europe, and it is expected to generate more usage in the future. With the support of Google Cloud and our deployment, the user’s data transmission and backend services are stable and reliable. VanchCard introduced the Transformers series last year which has proven to be a successful case of collaboration between VanchCard and Google in aiding the development of the gaming industry. Foreseeing the expansion of the international market will need more support on Google Cloud.
